The 2011-2012 Powell High Homecoming is open to all organizations to fund raise starting on May 28, 2011 Thur the months of June, July and August! This a great way for your organization to get a "jump start" on the competition! If you are interested in representing your club/sport/class or any other organization, and have a sponsor's permission, please see Mrs. Henderson in the Attendance Office before school is out for the summer. You can still sign up with sponsors permission to run when we return to school in August. All forms are available below on line for you. Homecoming Announcements Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, Homecoming night.CANDIDATES ONLY will meet in room 141 (sewing lab) at 5:30. You must be dressed and ready for individual and group pictures at this time. Parents will be allowed to take pictures after the Lifetouch photographer is finished.
ALL ESCORTS must be in room 141 by 6:30, dressed and ready to line up and go on the field. Parents will not be allowed on the sidelines or track to take pictures. This is for safety reasons. As soon as the festivities are over on the field, ALL CANDIDATES MUST REPORT BACK TO ROOM 141 FOR FINAL PICTURES OF THE QUEEN AND HER COURT. Everyone will need to change clothes as soon as possible, remove all belongings from the room so PHS staff can go and watch the remainder of the game. The room will be locked at this time and no one will be allowed to store any items over the weekend. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, first turn in due.The first turn in of at least $400.00 to make the field MUST be turned in to the bookkeeper starting at 8:00 a.m. in the main office. All monies must be in the form of one cashier check MADE OUT TO PHS or cash. There will be no exceptions made.
Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2011, final turn of all homecoming monies.The final turn in of ALL monies will be due NO LATER THEN 8:30 A.AM.. ALL MONIES MUST BE IN THE FORM ON ONE CASHER CHECK MADE OUT TO PHS OR CASH. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
